Our Team of Expert Analysts
Gregg M. Stutchman, Chief Forensic Analyst
Gregg has worked in the criminal justice system since 1973 as a police officer, a State Licensed Investigator, and since 1992 as a forensic analyst when he opened the lab. Gregg has progressively continued his education and training in forensic technology, staying on the cutting edge of new advances in his field. Since then, he has conducted forensic analysis on several thousand audio and video recordings. His expertise also includes all phases of forensic photography, voice identification, and image analysis. His goal in every case is revealing truth. His work and testimony as an expert witness are known and praised as being extremely effective, whether retained by the defense or by the prosecution. He has worked on such high profile cases as People v. Robert Blake, and the Michael Jackson case. He testifies extensively as an expert witness throughout the United States in state and federal courts as well as in depositions.

Steve C. Buller, Forensic Analyst
Steve has worked in the forensic audio and video field since 1998. He began his forensic career by working with Gregg Stutchman while attending college. Steve has completed numerous Forensic Audio and Video Certification trainings, and is a member of the American Board of Recorded Evidence. Mr. Buller has co-presented lectures with Gregg Stutchman on forensic audio and video issues at professional conferences and meetings throughout the United States. Mr. Buller’s specialty is directed towards Forensic Video Enhancement and Analysis. His work has resulted in the successful outcome of countless criminal and civil litigations.

Keither Alvord, Forensic Analyst
Keither joined Stutchman Forensic Lab as a full time analyst after graduating from California State University, Sacramento. Prior to graduating, he had worked as an intern for Stutchman Forensic Lab starting in 2010. He has a rich knowledge of technology, having worked as a multimedia software expert in Sacramento State’s IT department before joining our team. While employed there, he developed trainings on software and technology for staff and students, and he personally taught or co-taught over 500 of these workshops. In addition to in-house training, he has continued his formal forensic training at the University of Colorado at Denver’s National Center for Media Forensics.
