Video Authenticity Analysis & Analysis of Video Events
Video Authenticity Analysis
When the authenticity or integrity of a video recording is in question, our analysts conduct detailed forensic analysis to determine if material has been deleted, added, altered or changed. We use a combination of critical review, diagnostic programs, and forensic software to determine if a recording is authentic or has been altered.
Analysis of Video Events
Forensic video recordings are usually related to some aspect of an incident or crime that occurred or is alleged to have occurred. Often times, there is so much going on at once that a detailed breakdown of what all occurred in a recording is very important. This is a service our forensic analysts provide. We can determine the exact actions of suspect committing a crime or while at a crime scene.
There are other instances where information may need to be obtained forensically from both audio and video recordings. One example would be the need to determine the number of gunshots rapidly fired in a recording. Another is to analyze the timing or sequence of events that occur on the recording. All of these can be determined through detailed forensic analysis. Demonstrative exhibits, such as visual timelines can be prepared to display the results of the analysis.
As experienced expert analysts, our highly trained and qualified forensics team uses top of the line hardware and software technology to carefully handle and thoroughly analyze audio, video, and photographic media evidence. We can isolate, separate, enhance, and authenticate all relevant aspects of audio and video recordings in order to produce expert evidence backed by many years of master experience. As an expert witnesses in the courtroom, our testimony from the witness stand contains provable facts and relevant demonstrative evidence which will often be extremely instrumental to the outcome of the case.
